ELECTRIC MOTORS
NUSTART is able to supply electric motors to various industry sectors.
Standard motors are available in both Cast Iron and Aluminium frame casing materials.
TEFC Motors IP55 and IP66 are available in efficiencies IEI, IE2 and
IE3. IE4 is available only in certain sizes.
Motors with AC or DC brakes and/or mechanical backstops are available on request.
Permanent magnet AC - TEFC motors are now available to further decrease the customer's electrical spend as well as improve plant efficiency. These motors are built in smaller frame sizes in comparison to the standard induction motors and the efficiencies being far higher than their IE4 standard rivals.
We stock certain sizes of Scraper Winch as well as fabricated steel motors for hostile site conditions such as mines and quarries and the like. Please enquire as these are only available and manufactured on request. Our flameproof motors are available in both three and single phase They are suitable for gas Groups 2A, 2B and 2C Gas Group T4 - T6
The latest addition to our range of rotating machines are stainless steel motors and right angle and/or in line gear boxes IP69k which are specifically for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

Nustart is approved for modification of most makes of motors for use in hazardous Locations such as Ex nA (Zone 2) and Ex td IIIC (Zone 21/22). These motors are modified and supplied with the necessary certification.
